So it is crucial that the general public is better informed about the proper way of disposing of e-waste and reusing, repairing, and recycling electronic appliances.
The Rights to Repair movement is one that advocates for policies that are intended to allow consumers the ability to repair and modify their own consumer electronic devices, where otherwise the manufacturer of such devices requires the consumer to use only their offered services. Without such policies, it makes repairing and maintaining electronic devices difficult as the necessary parts wouldn’t be as readily available.
